AT&T (NYSE:T) is a large American multinational telecom corporation. Due to its interesting financial characteristics, such as a notable yield of over 5%, it clearly has been attractive to DGI investors and has become a key part of their investment life. I fully understand. Yet as its capital growth from a stock perspective is limited, I still consider AT&T not worth investing in at the moment and I will explain why. I will show through some analysis in this article that the odds for significant capital gain are not incredibly large and therefore in my view, the stock is not worth pursuing, regardless of its dividend, as I do not chase 5% yields.
