More than 30 superhero related movies will hit the big screen in five years - 2015 through 2020. This could mean superhero overload and a final tiring by moviegoers that could cause some flops. Or it could mean big things for Marvel (NYSE:DIS) and DC Comics (NYSE:TWX), the two biggest comic book companies in the world. Sony (NYSE:SNE) has had its own success in the comic book world with its Spider Man movie adaptations. Recently, the company made a multi-picture deal with Valiant Entertainment, one of the biggest independent movie companies, which powers the company's lineup of potential superhero blockbusters going forward. Sony announced a five picture deal with small comic publisher Valiant. The deal will see "Bloodshot" and "Harbinger," two of the most popular Valiant characters come to the big screen. Each character will get two movies, with a fifth picture seen centering on the "Harbinger Wars" comic line, which combined the two characters. Bloodshot will hit the big screen in 2017 with the team that produced the Fast and Furious series and the directors of "John Wick" Chad Strahelski and David Leitch. Read more
